Genetic Testing

On (Friday 14th March 2025) I had an appointment at St Mary's Hospital to have Genetic Testing carried out. This was to find out if my Heart Condition is inherited and can be passed down and because there is also a history of Cancer in the family so I was also tested to see if I carry the Cancer Gene change.

I had Bloods taken to be tested and Analyzed. I received a letter today (Friday 4th April 2025) from my Genetics Doctor which mentioned I do NOT carry the family Cancer gene which is good news, He will contact me again in a couple of months when the other test results have concluded since I am also being checked for any other hidden conditions that have not been previously found.
